Did u like the recipe? An easy chocolate cake recipe...?
yes coz when i was playing games in the website cookinggames.com

there was a game named HOW TO BAKE A CHOCOLATE CAKE

and i played there was the same recipe of cake which u wrote.the same one..An easy chocolate cake recipe...?
possibly
i'd use A LOT more choco powder. like 1/2 to 3/4 of a cup. or instead use 4-6 oz melted semisweet chocolate (melt it on a double boiler: put the chopped chocolate in a heat proof bowl over a pot of hot water and stir. the steam hitting the bottom of the bowl will melt the chocolate. dont let water get into the bowl of chocolate).

you also need some sort of fat. either oil or margarine. in that case i'd use 1/2 a cup vegetable oil

also i would first beat the eggs, sugar, vanilla extract and oil. if you're using melted chocolate i'd add the (cooled!) chocolate now.

then in a sepparate bowl i'd sift or whisk the remainig dry ingredients (including the choco powder - if you're using it instead of the melted chocolate)

then add the milk and flour mixture alternately to the egg mixture, beginning and ending with the flour mixture (i.e. add some flour mixture, and mix, then some milk, and mix, then some more flour mixture, and mix etc beginning and ending with the flour mixture)

also dont forget to preheat the oven.

and dont forget to grease the pan and sprinkle with a teaspoon cocoa powder to cover the whole pan, and then discard of the rest

hope this helped :)

and if this doesnt work you can find a lot of nice recipes online. try www.allrecipes.com or www.joyofbaking.com
