My mother used to make a brown sugar coffee cake that was soured with vinegar. It was a German or Polish recipe. She passed away five years ago and the recipe was inadvertently given away or tossed. I miss that coffee cake so much and want to know if anyone has the recipe. I have tried several that I found on the net, but they just don't taste the same. I would be forever grateful.
