It's so easy to make cobbles why bother.
Easy peach cobbler

Combining fresh peaches and a cake mix are what make this peach cobbler so easy.

INGREDIENTS:

seven small to medium ripe peaches, peeled, pitted and diced

1/2 cup sugar

1 teaspoon ginger

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1 18-ounce cake mix, yellow or your choice, unprepared

1 cup butter, melted

PREPARATION:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease 9 x 13 pan. In a medium saucepan, combine peaches, sugar, ginger and cornstarch. Bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute. Remove from stove. Pour peach mixture into prepared pan.

Sprinkle dry cake mix over top. Drizzle butter over the cake mix. Bake for 1 hour or until top is lightly browned and peaches are bubbling. Serve with whipped or ice cream.
I have a simple and delicous recipe and infact i made it for tonights dessert: 1-2-3 cobbler: 1 box of yellow cake mix, 2. 1 stick of margarine or butter melted, and 3. 3. cans of peach pie filling and 4. a pinch of cinnamon if desired...

directions: open all 3 cans of peach pie filling and spread evenly on 9 by 13 inch cake pan, and then mix cake mix with cinammon if desired and sprinkle the dry cake mix over the pie filling and drizzle the margarine or butter over the cake mix and bake in a 325 degree oven for 45 minutes till golden and bubbly... serve warm or cold either way it is delicious...
What I do is......

Take as many peaches as I need. Depends on how many you are serving. I use about 8 for a large cake pan. I peel them and put them in a large pot on the stove. Add in a couple of cinnamon sticks, about a cup of sugar (depends on how sweet they are) and about a cup of water, with a knob of butter. Simmer till they are a bit tender. You can use canned peaches if you like....but I would add some cinnamon to them.

Take the cake mix and combine it with 1 cube of butter (slightly softened) till it looks like coarse meal.

Put the peaches in the pan, top with cake/butter mix. and bake till its golden brown...about 30 minutes at 350.
This is a bigggg hit.

1 butter pecan dry cake mix (can use yellow or white cake mix too)

1 can peaches with syrup

1 cup walnuts or pecan (chopped)

1 stick melted butter

pour peaches into baking pan, top with dry cake mix, top with nuts, pour melted butter on top. bake 350 until bubbly and brown on top. about 40 minutes. Delicious and easy.
