Your favorite cake that uses fruit? Recipe, please?

I've developed this myself as a delicious snack that just happens to be good for your health

Pumpkin oat snack cake

1 cup raisins

4 eggs

1 lb brown sugar

.25 cup oil

.25 cup molasses or .25 cup marmalade

1 can pumpkin

1 tbsp vanilla

1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice

1 tbsp ginger

3 tbsp cinammon

1 tbsp nutmeg

1 cup chopped pecans

1.5 cups oats

2 cups Bisquick

Soak raisins in rum, preheat oven to 350.

Stir eggs, brown sugar, spices, vanilla, pumpkin, oil, and molasses together. Stir in raisins and pecans.

Stir in oats

Stir in Bisquick.

Spray cake pan with Baker鈥檚 Joy. Spread batter in pan. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes

Raisins can also be soaked in orange juice or water. The rum will cook out as well.Your favorite cake that uses fruit? Recipe, please?
Yellow cake mix can serve as the foundation for any number of fresh or canned or frozen fruit cakes. Apple and banana are both incredible, esp with a cream cheese and/or powdered sugar icing or a crumble topping (oatmeall, brown sugar, cinnamon, butter).

Rachel Ray does this. Or I bet it is common enough that you can check any recipe database with an ingredient search...run yellow cake mix and see if there is a fruit cake recipe.Your favorite cake that uses fruit? Recipe, please?
