My mother made this cake a handful of times, but it's so memorable to me, and I know it's quite simple in theory/ingredients...but I need the exacts none-the-less. It was angel food cake, broken into chunks then each cake chunk was rolled and coated in a home made chocolate whipped cream and all stuck together, sprinkled with chopped nuts and conglomerates after being refrigerated in a 9x13 inch pan... It almost resembles a big piece of rocky road candy once it's cut and plated..and Mm the rich thick chocolate fudgy cream was to die for, lol. Has anyone ever had anything close and could help with making a yummy duplicate with measurements?Looking for an old cake recipe..Charlie Chaplin Cake?
