I'm giving you the link, rather than copying and pasting the recipe, because there are several recipes involved...one for the cake, one for filling, one for ganache icing, and even one for meringue mushrooms. Try searching Authentic Recipes. Think that is where I found my Scotch Christmas Cake that I had lost years back.
