What was that cake recipe? I was cooked by a muslim woman and it was AMAZING, but I have no idea what it was!?

Can anyone help? I'm looking for a recipe to a cake, its very light, very sticky and really really yummy! It had raisins in it and was cooked in a deep baking tray rather than a cake tin. I know its vague but does it ring any bells with anyone?

I got given a piece by a woman I once visited but I don't really know her to ask her. She was cooking what looked like Indian food, but it could have been Iraqi or African (obviously!)

Thanks everyone! What was that cake recipe? I was cooked by a muslim woman and it was AMAZING, but I have no idea what it was!?
