When I lived in Germany as a child, my mom and dad used to take us to the landlord's house. I remember the trees had no lights, but candles. She always made a cake. It wasn't sweet, but it was good. This was a home made German cake.
Does anyone have any knowledge of this cake and have a recipe.?
